Yesterday I joined Adam at Bright Ideas Studios in Pikesville, Maryland, for a video project that he is doing in partnership with Joshua & Gabrielle Rystedt of Rystedt Creative Services.
As a gear lover – this was extreme play-land for photographers and videographers. I’ve always wanted a space with a cyc wall (an infinite-wall is two walls constructed with the planes smoothly merging horizontally and vertically, to create an infinity effect of the same tone – AKA: NO CORNERS!!). But this was my first time in a studio that had a cyc wall (also referred to as cyclorama wall).
I was primarily on site to get behind-the-scenes photographs of Adam in all his glory, to add to his Personal Branding Photography portfolio. But I was also able to lend a helpful hand. During the filming I manned one of three cameras, mic our lovely subjects (the team from Puckett & Sturgill Financial Group), and also helped set up and break down some of the video gear we brought along.
